This E-Type is a Series 1 1/2 E-type roadster. In 1968, Jaguar made the evolution from Series 1 to Series 2, but in the typical Jaguar style, they did it with a model in between. Series 1 1/2 cars have components from both Series 1 and Series 2. The rear lights for instance are similar to the Series 1 (so positioned above the bumpers), while dashboard and headlights are from a Series 2.

This E-Type was delivered new in the United States in July 1968, and exported to Denmark in 1986. In Denmark, the previous owner restored the car completely over a period of 12 years. Everything is replaced or reconditioned, and this car did approx. 25.000 km since the restoration. The car is always meticulously maintained, and still in excellent condition. This is the kind of E-Type to get in and drive straight to the celebrations of 50 years E-Type in Coventry !
