This beautifully build Morgan Plus 4 FIA racer to Super Sports specification is a very effective historic racecar. It's rather light and comes with a torquey and powerful 2,2 litre Triumph engine producing 188 bhp on the dyno. The car has been owned for more then 20 years by the same owner, and was mainly used for rallyes and hillclimbs. In 2010, the Morgan was rebuild for racing and constructed as an exact copy of the 1962 Le Mans class winner driven by Chris Lawrence. The car has been quite successful in the hands of father-and-son team Philip and Rasmus Lokvig, and was competed several times in Spa 6 hours, Nurburgring Oldtimer Grand Prix and Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix. More importantly, this Morgan has a Danish road registration so it can also be used for events like Tour Auto. It has just got a full engine rebuild by Mass Racing Developments Ltd in England, and the car is ready for intensive use. It also comes with a renewed FIA HTP, and is eligible for Le Mans Classic and Goodwood Revival. Together with the Morgan, the new owner will get many spare parts and 6 extra wheels. A full list of the spares, as well as a complete description of the specification is available on request. The finish of the Morgan is from a very high level, and almost to good for a racecar.
This is a turnkey ready historic racer in immaculate condition - buy it and race it. It's that simple.
