Land Rover has ceased production of the legendary Defender in the beginning of this year. and to celebrate they launched the Heritage Edition. Only 2,654 examples of this version were produced and these were all sold out in a couple of days. No wonder, as it carries a lot of details of the Original Land Rover. The Grasmere Green colour is exactly the same as the only available colour 70 years ago. The front grille is based on the design of the very first Land Rover, and the HUE 166 badges refer to the numberplate of one of the first registered examples which was nicknamed "Huey".

This example was ordered new by ourselves, and was delivered in November 2015. The car is still in new condition, as it only covered 1600 dry kilometers. It comes with airconditioning, sunroof, power windows, heated front seats and tow bar. The Defender is registered as a two seats commercial vehicle, which means that the 21% VAT is deductable if the car is exported or registered in a company name.

Most of these Heritage Editions have arrived in collections, and only a few are on the market. This is definitely is a rare opportunity to obtain such an iconic Defender, and we expect these Heritage Editions will only appreciate further in the near future. The combination of rarity, desirability and looks makes this car a modern classic. A unique blend of cool and vintage.
