This must be the ultimate Austin-Healey. Build by John Chatham, also known as Mr. Big Healey, as a perfect recreation of his famous Sebring Austin-Healey. This car has all the fantastic improvements as used on the factory racers, and looks absolutely stunning. This nut-and-bolt restoration was finished in 2010, and is completely documented with pictures. The car had only one owner since, and is now on a belgian numberplate for normal use (so no limited use, and yearly technical inspection like a modern car).

The engine began life as a tri-carb 3000, but has been modified by Chatham with a 300 degree camshaft, balanced bottom end, lightly ported head and the original tri-carb set up with a 6-branch exhaust manifold. The chassis is strengthened and has a slightly upgraded suspension for a more planted ride. All aluminium wings with Sebring style vents and of course the famous bespoke Chatham quick release grille. Inside there are beautiful 100 S seats finished in red leather, and a period wooden steering wheel. The hardtop is a genuine works item, and cimes with the original removable side screens. The long-range fuel tank makes it an easy car for continental trips. Finish of this Austin-Healey is outstanding, with immaculate paintwork and attention for detail.
