Ferrari 328 GTS (1989)38.023 km from new. Gorgeous and very rare colour combination.
Sold between 1985 and 1989, the 328 was the replacement for the 308 of Magnum, P.I. fame. The 328 GTS packed a mid-engine V8 good for 270 horsepower at 7000 RPM and could do the zero to 100 km/h dash in about 5,5 seconds. Quick by modern standards, extremely fast by 80s standards ! Ferrari built in total a little over 6.000 examples of the 328 GTS, and it is generally recognised as one of the most reliable Ferrari's ever. This example is originally delivered in Dubai by Al-Tayer Motors (PVT) Ltd on the 15th of January 1989 with European specification, and must have been exported in the same week to the UK as it had its first service at 1.127 km at Emblem Sports Cars in Dorset. The car is in exceptional condition, and comes with a complete service history. Total mileage is now 38.023 km, and it is clear that this car has always been maintained like it should. The last cambelt change and clutch replacement was in August 2020, and it has received some small services since as well - all documented with invoices. The colour combination of Blue Chiaro with Crema leather is gorgeous, and probably one of the best colours for a Ferrari 328. These mid-engined V8 Ferrari's are a real joy on the road, with an addictive soundtrack and a racecar-like driving position. The GTS has the benefit of a targa roof, which can be neatly stowed away behind the front seats in a tailormade vinyl cover. Prices of low mileage 328's are still rising, fin line with the values of the Dino 246 GT and GTS. We still believe it is the right time to buy one, as a 328 is a popular entry in the magical world of Ferrari, and still cheaper then a new Ferrari. It is one of the best cars ever made in Maranello, with a sexy Pininfarina styled body and a high revving V8 engine. If you drive one, you will buy one ! |
